Frequently asked questions
See how Epos Now Capital can help your business with our quick answers.
Epos Now Capital is a funding scheme based on your business’ card transactions and potential. It includes a fixed cost agreed upfront, so you know exactly how much you will pay. It is designed especially for small and middle-sized enterprises.
The repayment amount is automatically deducted from your payouts until it is fully repaid. It happens automatically mirroring your cash flow – ideal for seasonal businesses.
Funding can be used for different purposes including refurbishment, hiring staff, purchasing inventory, expanding premises, equipment upgrades – or whatever your business needs may be.
Adyen facilitates financing to Epos Now customers as part of Epos Now Capital. Adyen’s system helps us provide the best financing arrangement offers based on your business profile.
To be eligible for funding your business must meet the following criteria:
– Be either a limited business or a sole trader
– Have been actively trading using Epos Now payments for at least 3 months with a volume of over $1,000 traded per month.
If this criteria has not been met, then your business will not be offered funding.
This is possible, but not the smooth process we want yet. Currently you would need to email “Capital@eposnow.com” with the request to increase your withhold percentage in order to repay the funding faster.
Adyen does a proactive risk assessment of your business based on your payment transactions. The outcome of this assessment results in the offers displayed to you.
The offers start with a minimum of A$500 and can be up to A$39,000 depending on your business profile.
The Epos Now Capital (via Adyen) repayment amount is automatically deducted from your daily payout amount until fully repaid, and is deducted before your payout is transferred into your account.
Yes, your Epos Now Capital offers automatically expire, and new ones are displayed on a weekly basis. Please note that each new Epos Now Capital offer is determined by the latest trading data, and the maximum amount we can offer might change over time.
You can use the financing arrangement for any business purpose. Most businesses will use the funds to buy inventory, invest in advertising, carry out refurbishments, add a new location, or manage temporary operational disruptions.
During the Capital process, you will have selected a payout account for the funds to be sent to. The Capital agreement works through grouping the funding with your next payout due.
E.g. Funding requested at 3pm, your payouts are normally sent into your account at 7am each day. The funding will be pushed with the payout at 7am the next morning.
During the Capital process, you will have selected a payout account for the funds to be sent to. This will most commonly be your listed payout account, where your daily payouts from Epos Now Payments get sent to.
