2.8 Multiple Choice Notes

This section allows you to add multiple choice notes; multiple choice notes are great for offering choices to your customers i.e. how they would like their eggs cooked.

Where to find the multiple choice notes section

1. Log into your Back Office with your username and password
2. Select MANAGE (left hand side)
3. Select Multiple Choice Notes (located under the Products tab)

Adding a multiple choice note

1. Within the Multiple Choice Notes section, enter a name in the Name field i.e. Eggs
2. Select ADD
3. On the following page, enable the Popup by Default checkbox if you would like the multiple choice note to popup by default when the associated product is selected on the Front Till
4. Under the Add Choices section, enter the name of your first choice into the CHOICES field i.e. scrambled
5. Select ADD
   Note: Be sure to add the choices individually, selecting ADD after each one. The choices will appear in a list below.
6. Once you have added all choices, select SAVE (right hand side)

    

Assigning the multiple choice note to a product

You will now need to assign the multiple choice note to a product, this is so the multiple choice note appears on the Front Till when the related product is selected.

1. Head to the Product List section (located under the Products tab)
2. Under Show additional information, enable the Show Till Details checkbox
3. Located the product you would like to assign the multiple choice note to and select EDIT
4. Scroll to the left until you see the MULTIPLE CHOICE NOTE tab (use the drop down menu to select the multiple choice note)
5. Scroll to the right and select UPDATE

The multiple choice note will now appear on your Front Till when the associated product has been selected.

Deleting a multiple choice note

1. Head to the Multiple Choice Notes section (located under the Products tab)
2. Select the red X next to the multiple choice note you wish to remove

The multiple choice note will be removed from your Back Office and will no longer be associated with a product.
