Major systems upgrade means faster business for all Epos Now merchants
Tens of thousands of businesses around the world are about to benefit from a speed boost as point of sale and payments specialist Epos Now releases a major update to its architecture.
Epos Now is a leading AI-driven point-of-sale and embedded finance platform operating in 10 countries, including the US, supporting over 80,000 small and medium-sized business locations.
As part of its continuous program of investment in its integrated business platform, which includes point of sale, payments, banking and finance products, the company is now rolling out the upgrade globally. Initial trial customers saw a huge increase in operating speed and processing times.
The update will happen automatically when tills sync with Epos Now’s cloud servers, so users won’t experience any downtime. What they will notice is a fast system becoming even faster, which ultimately results in an ever slicker customer experience.
The architecture upgrade focused on improving the efficiency of the platform. This enables the tills to process data faster and to communicate more effectively with our cloud service, speeding up the whole experience.
According to Jason Downing, Senior VP Product, the new release takes system performance to an entirely new level: “A faster checkout, everywhere from your local store to the pub, means happier customers and more time for our merchants to focus on their business. No matter your scale, these faster experiences will make a difference. We’re incredibly excited to roll out this upgrade to all’.
